The Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Complete Calendar Openface 4020T/000R-B654 pairs a classic 41mm pink gold case with a dial that opens up the movement. The openface dial is assembled in three parts, with a sapphire crystal, a slate grey decorated segment at the top, and a slate grey opaline flange around it. This lets the calendar mechanism and the movement beneath show through, and the case is 11.05mm thick with a transparent sapphire caseback.
The complete calendar shows the date, day, and month, with a precision moon phase under translucent sapphire crystal clouds. The date is read from a central blackened 18k gold hand with a white crescent tip, and the day and month appear in apertures. Dauphine-style 18k gold hour and minute hands, applied 18k gold hour-markers, and a railway minute-track keep the dial clear and traditional.
Inside is the self-winding Calibre 2460 QCL/2, built from 308 parts with 27 jewels, beating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with a 40-hour power reserve. Its main plate and bridges are treated with anthracite NAC, and the movement carries the Hallmark of Geneva, the standard of quality and craftsmanship the city has upheld since 1886. The watch is worn on a grey alligator leather strap with an 18k pink gold ardillon buckle.
