What is a luxury watch sourcing service?

A sourcing service finds a specific watch for you when it is not available in stores or online. You tell us the brand, model or reference you want, and our team searches our dealer and collector network to locate it, check it and secure it for you.

How does the SHK Watches sourcing process work?

Submit the sourcing request form with the brand, reference, preferred condition and budget. A specialist reviews your request, searches our network and comes back with the available options, including photos, condition details and pricing. Once you approve a watch, we secure it, inspect it and arrange delivery.

Is there a fee to submit a sourcing request?

No. Submitting a sourcing request is free and comes with no obligation to buy.

Which watch brands can you source?

Can you find discontinued or limited-edition watches?

Yes. Discontinued references, limited editions and low-production pieces are exactly what our sourcing service is for. The more detail you share, such as reference number, dial, year and box and papers preference, the faster we can focus the search.

Can you source watches with long boutique waiting lists?

Often, yes. Many models with long boutique waiting lists, such as popular Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet sports references, can be found through the secondary market. We will let you know what is available and at what price.

Timing & Availability

How long does it take to source a watch?

Many current references can be found within days. Rare, limited or discontinued pieces can take longer. After reviewing your request, we will give you a realistic timeline.

Will you keep me updated during the search?

Yes. Your specialist will keep you informed as the search progresses and contact you as soon as a suitable watch is found.

What if the exact watch I want is not available?

If your exact reference is not currently available, we will tell you honestly and can suggest close alternatives, such as a different dial or year, or keep searching until the right piece appears.

Pricing & Payment

How is the price of a sourced watch determined?

Pricing reflects the current secondary market, the condition of the watch, whether it includes box and papers, and its rarity. You will receive a clear quote before you commit to anything.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

For some rare or high-demand pieces, a deposit may be needed to secure the watch. If so, we will confirm the terms with you in writing before any payment is made.

Am I obligated to buy once you find a watch?

No. You review the photos, condition details and price first, and only proceed if you are completely happy with the watch.

Authenticity & Condition

Are sourced watches guaranteed authentic?

Yes. Every watch we source is inspected by our specialists, including the movement, serial numbers, case, dial, bracelet and accompanying documents, before it is offered to you.

Can I choose between brand new and pre-owned watches?

Yes. Tell us your preference in the request form, whether that is brand new and unworn, pre-owned, or either, and we will search accordingly.

Will my watch come with box and papers?

Let us know if a full set is important to you. Before you purchase, we will confirm exactly what is included with the watch, such as the original box, warranty card and accessories.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship sourced watches worldwide?

Yes. SHK Watches offers secure international shipping for clients worldwide. Shipping methods and delivery times vary depending on your destination and local regulations.

Are import duties and taxes included?

Import duties and taxes depend on the regulations of your country. Our team will advise you on what to expect for your destination before you purchase.

Can I see the watch before it is shipped?

Yes. We can share detailed photos and videos and arrange a video call, so you can view the watch before you commit.
