Released in 2022 after the Titanium Edition One, the C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition Two gave the collection a bolder, sportier character. Its 41mm x 9.55mm case, lugs and pin buckle are made from Grade 5 titanium coated with a technical black ADLC treatment, which adds scratch and shock resistance. The case measures 49.5mm lug to lug, is water resistant to 50 metres, and its signature six-facet bezel alternates polished and satin surfaces. A red rubber ring around the crown at 2 o’clock adds a dash of colour and makes winding easier.
The dial is made from black Grade 5 titanium, sandblasted and protected against UV rays. The 18k white gold hands, applied numerals and hour markers are three-dimensional and filled with red Super-LumiNova, matching the red tapering lines that form the small seconds at 7 o’clock. Off-centre hours and minutes complete the open “continuity” layout of the C collection.
Inside is the in-house hand-wound C by Romain Gauthier calibre in Grade 5 titanium, with 24 jewels, 28,800 vph and a 60-hour power reserve. It features Romain Gauthier’s snail-cam stop-seconds and stepped finger bridges inspired by the Vallée de Joux, all decorated by hand. Each movement is engraved “1 of 38”. The watch is worn on a black rubber strap with a black ADLC titanium pin buckle.
