The C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition Bracelet Openwork is the most technical expression of Romain Gauthier’s integrated-bracelet sports watch. The 41mm x 9.55mm case in natural Grade 5 titanium measures 47.8mm lug to lug and is water resistant to 50 metres. Its six-facet bezel alternates polished and satin surfaces, a design repeated around the sapphire display back.
The black sapphire dial is partially open to the seconds wheel and escapement line, revealing the balance, pallet fork and escape wheel, with blue and white accents. A decorative bridge on the lower dial is hand-engraved with the “boucharder” texture found inside the movement bridges. Tapering three-dimensional hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, and the numerals and indices are made entirely of Super-LumiNova for night-time legibility.
The in-house hand-wound C by Romain Gauthier calibre is built in natural Grade 5 titanium, beats at 28,800 vph and delivers around 60 hours of power reserve. It features the brand’s snail-cam stop-seconds mechanism and superlative hand finishing. Romain Gauthier’s first metal bracelet is made entirely of Grade 5 titanium, with satin and hand-polished links and a thin folding clasp integrated into the bracelet.
