The C by Romain Gauthier Platinum Edition Bracelet is the most precious interpretation of Romain Gauthier’s contemporary sports watch and part of the brand’s Heritage collection. Case and bracelet are made entirely of platinum, giving the watch a substantial 340-gram presence on the wrist. The 41mm x 9.55mm case measures 47.7mm lug to lug and features the signature six-facet bezel, sculpted one-piece caseband and lugs, and a crown at 2 o’clock.
The light blue dial is crafted in-house from 18k white gold and hand-engraved, creating a play of light that changes with every angle. Off-centre hours and minutes, small seconds at 7 o’clock and tapering lines of varying lengths express the “continuity” concept behind the C collection. Three-dimensional hands and markers are filled with Super-LumiNova.
Inside is the in-house hand-wound C by Romain Gauthier calibre with 18k white gold plates and bridges, beating at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of about 60 hours. The movement is entirely hand-decorated with polished bevels, hand-frosting and the hand-engraved “boucharder” texture, and features Romain Gauthier’s snail-cam stop-seconds. The integrated platinum bracelet alternates satin-finished and hand-polished surfaces and closes with a platinum folding clasp.
