The dial presents off-centre hours and minutes alongside a dedicated time-zone display, while the rotating Earth provides an intuitive representation of global time. A secured corrector at 4 o’clock allows the wearer to rotate the Earth and select the desired home time zone. The system also incorporates +1/-1 indicators to account for summer and winter time depending on the geographical region selected. A large date and retrograde power-reserve indication complete the sophisticated display, while the passage of months from 28 to 31 days is manually adjusted.
At the heart of the Octa UTC is the automatic Calibre 1300.3, manufactured in 18k rose gold and measuring approximately 30.80mm in diameter and 5.80mm thick. The movement features a unidirectional winding system with F.P.
