The fifth titanium edition of the C by Romain Gauthier is defined by its champagne-coloured, entirely hand-engraved dial. Working on a Grade 5 titanium base, the hand-decoration specialists of Manufacture Romain Gauthier create a full engraving pattern that produces subtle variations of tone and a lively play of light, finished with a protective layer against UV rays.
The 41mm x 9.55mm case in natural Grade 5 titanium measures 49.5mm lug to lug and is water resistant to 50 metres. Its six-facet bezel, sculpted caseband and lugs, and crown at 2 o’clock are all hallmarks of the collection. Off-centre hours and minutes and small seconds at 7 o’clock are framed by tapering lines, with luminous 18k white gold hands for clear legibility.
The in-house hand-wound C by Romain Gauthier calibre in natural Grade 5 titanium beats at 28,800 vph and delivers 60 hours of power reserve. It features the snail-cam stop-seconds, the Romain Gauthier balance wheel with curved arms and a triangular pallet lever, and each movement is engraved “1 of 38”. The watch is fitted on a rubber strap with a titanium pin buckle.
