Launched in 2022, the C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition Bracelet introduced the brand’s first metal bracelet. Reference MON00580 is the grey-dial version, featuring a sand-blasted dial in natural Grade 5 titanium. The 41mm x 9.55mm case measures 47.8mm lug to lug, is water resistant to 50 metres and, together with the bracelet, weighs only 85 grams.
The six-facet titanium bezel alternates polished facets and satin surfaces, and the sculpted one-piece caseband and lugs are finished with contrasting grooves. On the dial, off-centre hours and minutes and small seconds at 7 o’clock are framed by tapered lines forming vanishing points with the hands. Three-dimensional Super-LumiNova-filled hands and luminous numerals and indices offer excellent legibility.
The in-house hand-wound C by Romain Gauthier calibre in Grade 5 titanium beats at 28,800 vph, uses 24 jewels and offers around 60 hours of power reserve. Romain Gauthier’s snail-cam stop-seconds, hand-frosted mainplate and hand-engraved “boucharder” bridge texture are visible through the sapphire caseback. The integrated titanium bracelet uses satin and hand-polished links with a slim integrated folding clasp.
