The C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition Six closes the celebrated series of titanium C editions that began in 2021. Limited to 88 pieces, each with its number engraved on the back of the movement, it is housed in a 41mm x 9.55mm case of natural Grade 5 titanium measuring 49.5mm lug to lug and water resistant to 50 metres.
Its defining feature is a sapphire dial that is partially open to the seconds mechanism and escapement line. The seconds wheel, a symbol unique to Romain Gauthier, takes centre stage beside the balance, pallet fork and escape wheel, while a hand-engraved decorative bridge on the lower dial reproduces the “boucharder” texture of the movement bridges. Super-LumiNova-filled hands and numerals ensure clear legibility.
The in-house hand-wound C by Romain Gauthier calibre is crafted in natural Grade 5 titanium, beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a 60-hour power reserve. Its finger bridges, inspired by the Vallée de Joux, are reinterpreted with a modern stepped profile, and the snail-cam stop-seconds lets the wearer set the time precisely. The watch is worn on a grey rubber strap with a satin-finished and polished Grade 5 titanium pin buckle.
